14 Festivals Coming To Philadelphia This Spring

Festival season is hitting Philadelphia and we have a guide of ones you need to check out before they’re gone.  We’re talking beer, food, games, music — even dragons.  So mark your calendars and get ready for some outside fun.  Whether you’re into tacos and tequila or gardening and fashion, festival season has something for everyone.

Manyunk Craft Beer Festival

Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant

Tacos and tequila at the 19th annual craft beer fest.  Live music all day along with an unlimited amount of craft beer samples in a souvenir glass.  Participating breweries in the past have been Conshohocken Brewing Company, Flying Fish, Philadelphia Brewing Company, Weyerbacher, and Yards.

Over 30 restaurants and bars will be serving your favorite foods and drinks outside.  Live entertainment with 30 bands, along with hundreds of artists and retailers to buy from.  This is an event for all ages with a lot of family-friendly fun.

 

Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival

Check out the 21st annual festival with over 150 garden and home vendors.  Plenty of garden experts will be there to handle any of your questions.  Sample several of Chestnut Hill restaurants: McNally’s Tavern, Fiesta Pizza, Tavern on the Hill, Campbell’s Place, and more.  Live music and lots of fun for kids.

This festival is back for its second year at Franklin Square.  Live entertainment, food, shopping, and of course, a 200-foot Chinese dragon lantern.

 

Night Market Burholme

In its 7th season, come out to Night Market and enjoy dozens of food trucks and good music.  At this Northeast Philly location, expect live entertainment and local beer.  This festival has a great reputation so we’re thinking this will be another awesome event.

More than 30 taco vendors, tequila samples, live entertainment, and a taco eating contest are planned.  Authentic mariachi bands and a margarita bar will be on hand as well.

The largest African-American street festival in the country, covering 12 city blocks with culture and tradition.  Food trucks and live entertainment will be a part of it as well.
