Who doesn’t like to live out their glory days? The ‘90s were known for some of the best music, shows, and fashion trends. Here’s an event that satisfies it all. So, put on your favorite overalls, windbreakers, or graphic tees and go dance the night away.
Everybody Hits Philadelphia
See some psychedelic indie pop at the batting cages. Door open at 8 pm and the show starts at 9.
If you are 21 and older, here’s another performance for you. Show begins at 9:15 pm.
Wake Up Yoga
Who needs to go to a club/bar when you can have the perfect mix of relaxation and music in this 90-minute yoga workshop. Whether you are a beginner or an expert in yoga, you are welcome to this event. This is a perfect way to shake off the work week.
This unique show features live wrestling with a twist. Starting at 9 pm, the writers will provide commentary and sketches to create an hour long comedic show. Can’t make it on Friday? Don’t fret, they will be performing on Saturday as well.
Saturday, Jan. 27
Food and booze … say less, Philly. The Institute is serving up a large selection of liquor-infused cheesecakes and hand crafted cocktails from 3 to 9 pm .
This New Orleans rapper takes the stage at The Foundry, repping his latest album Slingshot David.
You know what they say: ‘New Year, New Me.’ So, why not add new connections into the mix? If you’re looking for a change to start off 2018, Med Rex will be hosting a Singles Mixer. Drink specials, light appetizers, and ice-breaker activities will be provided. The mixer begins at 7 pm, but is followed by a DJ who will play until 2 am.
This club is hosting a ’90s party from 9 pm until 2 am.
The Chinese New Year is here, and Penn Museum is hosting the celebration for the 37th straight year. This festivities kick off at 11 am with a mix of activities and performances through the day until about 4 pm.
The Pennsylvania Convention Center
This is the first day of the Philadelphia Auto Show, which runs through February 4. The show features 40+ worldwide manufacturers and over 700 classic automobiles. It is an easy-to-navigate display of both pre-production and futuristic automobiles.

Punch Line Philly
Laugh off the fact that the week is already starting with some live comedy at Punch Line Philly. The events starts at 8:30 pm.
Toasted Walnut Bar and Kitchen
Straight Outta Philly is hosting a night filled with live performances from female hip-hop and r&b artists. Monie & Meek, Firenation, Dark Matter, Ladi J, Sadge and TheVault + are among the performers, who will take the stage from 7:30 to 11:30 pm.
