Friday, Feb. 2
South Street Cinema
Come and feel trapped in an endless cycle just like Phil Connors at a day-long screening of this 1993 classic. Starting at noon, the screening will last all Groundhog Day.
Ritz at the Bourse
The Ritz at the Bourse is continuing its monthly horror series with Takashi Miike’s gory cult classic. The screening starts at midnight.
This First Friday event will feature two local artists in this exhibition. Free drinks and snacks are provided along with a dance party at the end of the night.
World Cafe Live
If you sign up to be an XPN member, then you can attend this free dance party. From 6 to 8 pm it’ll be strictly funk then from 8 to 11 pm it’s all ’80s. Bring a can of Aqua Net and neon leg warmers and get out on the floor.
These two artists are performing this Friday at Union Transfer. The show starts at 8:30 pm.
Saturday, Feb. 3
Want to relive the nineties in full-fledged, era-appropriate attire? Well, break out the combat boots and ripped jeans for this dance party. The event starts at 10:30 pm and is 21+.

If you want to dance at a high-energy live show, then this event is for you. Come see these three sets at 7:30 pm this Saturday.
Institute of Contemporary Art
Come out and pretend to be a coffee connoisseur with this event. From 1 to 2:30 pm, Elixir Coffee will be providing an array of roasts for sipping.
This event will be a guided tour and lecture on monsters and medical works from the 19th century to the present. It starts at 12:45 pm.
Sunday, Feb. 4
Come out and buy some art and crafts from local makers and artists. The items for sale will be politically charged with resistance movements, such as Black Lives Matter. Also, there will be a raffle and all proceeds go to Planned Parenthood.
Come out and enjoy some Mexican food at this famous spot for the Super Bowl. There’s going to be a special for beers, Eagles Green margaritas, and nachos.
This DJ set lasts from 8 pm to 1 am in the downstairs section of Johnny Brenda’s. If the Super Bowl is a bore to you, then come dance away the restlessness.
The Dolphin Tavern
This show features “transcendental futuristic”music played by Dave P. There’s an open bar with free Tecate from 10 to 11. The event starts at 10 pm so get there early for the free drinks.
