Colin Kane Comedy Show

Colin Kane is coming to Philly for a three-day tour and he’s bringing the dirty jokes with him. Recently appeared in “The Wedding Ringer,” Colin Kane is known for his sarcastic approach to stand-up. Leave the kiddos at home, this show is 21+ Those above 18 may attend with guardians that are 30+.

St. Patrick’s Day Free Demo

There’s no better way to pregame all of the St. Patrick’s Day festivities than enjoying a traditional Irish delicacy made by Chef Paul Mccormick at City Kitchen. A demonstration and free tasting will be given to guests. Make sure to get there early – the tasting is first-come, first-served.

This event is hosted by Soca Slim and is appearing for the first time in Philly. Soca’s style is similar to reggae but more upbeat. Usually, this music is played at Caribbean gatherings in places like Trinidad, Guyana, Barbados, and many more. This time, this class is going with a carnival theme, but don’t stress about an outfit – they will provide carnival costumes for you to dance in.


Friday Nights at the Art Museum

Kick off your weekend with a night full of live music, cocktails, tapas-style dishes, and access to beautiful galleries at one of Philly’s best museums. From 5 to 8:45 pm, you can enjoy music from around the world by Bert Harris, Jocko MacNelly, Kimpedro Rodriguez, Richard Orr and V. Shayne Fredrick.

Spend your Saturday giving back to the community with Mango Bahia. Punch Line Philly


Rachel Feinstein, a nationally known comedian and actress, is in Philly this weekend. She will toy with gender and ethnic stereotypes to provide a night full of laughs. The show begins at 8 pm.


Women in Science Day

The Franklin Institute

That’s right, Saturdays are for the girls this weekend. The Franklin Institute will recognize many historic achievements of women that come from a variety of fields. This day is meant to spotlight the power and impact of women on our society for National Women’s History Month. There will also be a special presentation and conversation by Dr. Soyeon Yi, the First Korean Astronaut.


St. Patrick’s Day Block Party

St. Stephen’s Green 


Shut down 17th Street to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Live performances, corn hole, beer pong, and drink specials will be offered.  Live performances include O’Grady Quinlan Irish Dancers, Riley Irish Dance School, and The Bare Knuckle Boxers. This event is all day.



The Fillmore Philadelphia


Basstracks will be providing jazzadelic R&B at The Fillmore this weekend. This duo is from Brooklyn and is ready to rock with Ivan Jackson on the trumpet and Conor Rayne on the drums. This event is 18+ and begins at 9 pm.

Bourbon & Branch is providing great food, tasty drinks and, of course, swing dancing. Parlour Noir will get the dance floor ready for vintage jazz music all night long. Doors for this event open at 8 pm.

Brukwine Dance Class

Brukwine is another Carribbean-style workout that will make you feel sexy while also making you sweat. The owners of Brukwine were both professional dancers who toured with Sean Paul and danced with top artists including Beyonce, JLo, Alicia Keys, and more. Therefore, they’re bound to give you a dance of a lifetime. This class is open to all levels of dancers. The class is from 2 to 3 pm.


Riot Nerd Flea Market

Warehouse on Watts


Warehouse on Watts will have a ton of fun shops and mini Philly record stores selling a variety of CDs, records, cassettes, DVDs, video games, board games, toys, cloths, accessories, and much more. Food trucks will vend outside the venue.
