La Colombe, Fishtown Café
June 1st is the kickoff of La Colombe’s Hope & Fury concert series with music and discussions. First, La Colombe CEO and Co-Founder Todd Carmichael will talk with the ill Fated Natives about the current political landscape, followed by a live performance by them. Event starts 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
A little more expensive than your usual Cheap Date, but w/e. Lasers, backflips, blacklights, and music means this night is no ordinary dance party. From 7 to 11 pm enter a sea of neon bodies all bouncing to the beat of the DJ.
Eastern State Penitentiary
Come taste-test the prison food served as a form of punishment across the country, and judge for yourself whether the prison lifestyle is for you. The event lasts from 11 am to 4:30 pm, and is definitely a cool experience.
Punch Line Philly
Saturday June 2 is the grand opening of Fish Tank, Fishtown’s newest place to drink with the fish themselves. From 7 pm to 12 am Dj mushoofabc will be providing the tunes to set the right vibe for your date night.

This market boasts art pieces, vintage furniture, clothing, and goods. Oh, and lots of food. Event lasts 10 am to 5 pm.
International House Philadelphia
