From 7 to 10 pm let Ryan Donahue (HBO’s Crashing, Jimmy Kimmel Live!) help you end your week crying and dying on the floor from laughter, rather than work stress. Your ticket also includes a free drink ticket so get drunk and have a good laugh.

Where do we start?! Free parking, $4 to $5 beer, wine, and mixed drinks, cabanas, food, corn hole, and connect 4 all while watching the sunset over the skyline.

Take a road trip to see Chicago (the movie!) and watch as two performers/criminals find fame amidst corruption and scandals. Screening starts at 7 pm and is BYOM (mat).


Saturday 8.18

Food Truck Festival

Come out 11 am to 5 pm and stuff your face with Philly’s finest food trucks. There will also be activities, vendors, and music.



Thomas Paine Plaza

Karma can be a bitch, just sayin’. Come out and help serve the homeless by distributing clothing, food, shoes, and blankets. Or you can donate goods. Event starts at 8 pm.


Low-Key Concert Night

The Random Tea Room & Curiosity Shop


Two musicians Andy McLeod & Dann Pellwill be gracing us with their folk roots and guitar/banjo/fiddle playing. The show starts at 7 pm.


TRL Dance Party

Kung Fu Necktie


Did you grow up watching MTV? Then this TRL night is for you. Noon to 8 pm, participants can come and celebrate Caribbean culture, music, and food from fourteen Caribbean islands while enjoying workshops, a children’s corner, and a marketplace.


Boozy Brunch

How well do you know your Disney trivia? In this edition of bippity boppity boozy brunch trivia you’ll be tested on everything from princesses to songs to Pixar. From 11 am to 3 pm $15 a person gets ya bottomless mimosas or bloodys and reservations are a must!


Philly Beach Day

Leon H. Sullivan Human Services Center

From 1 to 6 pm, North Broad will be transformed into a beach oasis with sand, beach chairs, hammocks, and games. Skip the drive to OCNJ this weekend and tan close to home with your own pop-up beach in Philly.


Yoga in the Park

Your weekend can’t all be drinks and tanning, so get some exercise in with yoga from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
