Feed Your Curiosity is a weekly roundup of events in Philadelphia that will broaden your horizons, tantalize your mind, and hopefully sophisticate you into something more than the heathen that you are. Here’s what’s going on this week.

Breaking Down the Hog: Odds and Ends

Come out and learn about something different. An experienced culinary chef will be explaining each cut of pork and the various ways to cook it.

This event features a free meditation center. Cleanse your mind and energy from 6 to 7 pm.


Wednesday, 5.23

Yoga Happy Hour

Fishtown Hops


Grab a drink and enjoy a yoga session. It lasts from 6 to 7 pm.


Charolais: A Pop-Up Play at Fergie’s Pub

Fergie’s Pub


This pub is hosting a play. Come enjoy dinner and a beer while watching live theater. It starts at 6 pm.

Community Unity: Live Jam Sessions with Philly Beat Alliance

South Bowl 


Strike out on bowling while listening to some live music. This lasts from 8 pm to midnight.


Friday, 5.25

Puppets Here & There

CSz Philadelphia – Home Of ComedySportz


This eccentric event features puppets putting on a comedy show at the audience’s request.


Saturday, 5.26

May Letter Writing

William Way LGBT Community Center


Every month, this LGBT center receives hundreds of letters from prison inmates. At this monthly event, they answer each one. Do a good deed and come participate from 1 to 4 pm.


Super Saturday Matinee: Samurai Jack

South Street Cinema


Come watch this classic ’90s cartoon at this South Street theater. It lasts from 2 to 4 pm.
