Show up at PhilaMOCA at 8 pm for the ultimate collection of Freak Show acts and stunts guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and everything in between. Where else can you see rubber bands to the face, green skin, human turkey calls, and things on fire all in one place?

Starting at 7:30 pm, The Kimmel Center is holding a free Latin Music & Dance Party! The evening will feature a few Latin Music groups and a DJ to get you moving. Don’t worry if you can’t dance; I’m sure there will be some Salsa and Bachata pros around to teach you a lesson.

Night Skies in the Observatory

The Franklin Institute’s Chief Astronomer is hosting an evening of astronomical activities starting at 7 pm. There will be many shows and lessons to choose from, and you can finish your night stargazing at the cash bar on ‘Ben’s Starlight Lounge.’
Classic Essentials: Singin’ in the Rain

Come to The Ritz Five at 7 pm to be serenaded by Gene Kelly’s voice and the sweet sounds of his tap dancing feet. With all of the romance, comedy, betrayal, history, and countless musical numbers in this movie, you can’t go wrong. One thing to keep in mind: in Gene’s classic ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ scene, the “rain” pouring down on him is actually half milk.

From 3 to 7 pm, stop by Historic Rittenhouse and raise some money to preserve an important piece of Philadelphia. Ticket purchases get you two free drinks, and there will be games, vendors, music, and more. This is a family and pet friendly event; hopefully someone brings their dog.
Philly Must Love Beards

NOTO Philadelphia is hosting one of the weirdest events in the city this Saturday from 3 to 9 pm. If you’re a woman who loves bearded men, purchase your ticket in advance. Men with beards get in for free. It’s basically a huge celebration of beards and the people who love them. Maybe you will meet your bearded prince charming.
