Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching.

Maybe you still need something to do with your significant other or you’re just trying to get away from the whole romance scene. Either way, Philly Views has you covered. There area ton of activities going on around the city that are sure to make this Valentine’s Day one to remember.

This is the guide to unique Valentine’s Day events happening throughout Philadelphia.


Sweetheart Skate

Blue Cross River Rink

Take a trip to Penn’s Landing in Old City to enjoy a night of ice skating with your sweetheart. The event takes place from 7 to 11 pm. And the best part? All couples get a rose, a box of chocolates, and a picture to remember the special day.


Valentine’s Day Date Night

Keystone Mini Golf and Arcade

From 6 to 10 pm, couples can enjoy two rounds of mini golf accompanied by wine, Weckerly’s mini ice cream sandwiches, candy hearts, and a rose.


9th Annual Valentine’s Ghost Tour

Ghost Tour of Philadelphia


Take a ghost tour throughout Philly to while listening to stories about love that turn a bad turn. The tour starts at 7 pm and includes a 75-minute candlelit tour. Sites include the Powell House, the Society Hill Mansion, and burial grounds that are believed to be haunted.


Valentine’s Day Murder Mystery

Are you looking to add some mystery to your special day? The Red Owl Tavern can help. Enjoy a thee-course meal while trying to solve the interactive murder mystery. Beer and wine are included with your meal. This event takes place from 7 to 10 pm


The 8th Annual Person Arts Ex Files StorySlam

From 7 to 9 pm, join the host Chris Lundy for some real-life stories about all things relationships-love, heartbreak, and everything in between. Doors open at 6 pm.


Sweetheart Skate

Dilworth Park

Buy one, get one free admission ($5 Admission, $10 Skate Rental)

Grab your sweetheart and glide across the ice in the middle of Philly. Skaters can enjoy a view of City Hall while trying not to fall. Head to the Dilworth Park cafe for some refreshments to warm up after leaving the ice. Guests can skate from 4 to 8 pm.


Shakespeare in Love: Open Mic Poetry Night

Enjoy a night filled with Shakespeare at this open mic night. Grab a ticket and basque in the literature,  or prepare your own performances. Performances must be under 3 minutes.


ONE NIGHT Stands: Three Comedies About Love and Relationships

This relationship-themed comedy show is sure to add some laughter to this special day. The performance will explore different situations about love and relationships with a funny twist.

Cast members will be performing based on audience suggestions, so you never know what could happen during this improvised show. The only thing that’s certain is that it’s a romantic comedy theme.
